All participants must wear a helmet and follow the rules of the road, including stopping at all stop signs and red lights. Remember to stay to the right and ride single file for safety and to avoid impeding traffic. You can legally ride two-abreast if it doesn't impede traffic. Remember to "skinny up" on hills and never ride in the oncoming traffic lane. Use proper hand signals to let other riders know when you are turning, stopping, or moving over.
About this event
When the sun rises over the picturesque landscape of Blue Mounds on August 31, cyclists will gather at Brigham County Park for the start of the 2025 Wright Stuff Century. Set against the backdrop of the scenic driftless region, this annual event promises a day of exhilarating adventure and breathtaking vistas. Participants can choose from three routes that will wind through rolling hills, scenic climbs, and lush valleys. The journey includes architectural marvels, including Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic Taliesin and the serene Unity Chapel, serving as reminders of the region's rich cultural heritage. Along the way, riders are supported by a dedicated team offering limited SAG support and well-stocked rest stops, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. As the miles unfold, you'll be treated to sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, each pedal stroke bringing you closer to the finish line and Brigham Park where you'll refuel with in a well-deserved picnic meal and beverages. The hills will only get taller with each retelling as you relive your day's adventures amidst the tranquil beauty of Wisconsin's Driftless Area.
